CEPI Investors
We have received support from over 30 national governments, the European Commission and key philanthropic organisations, including the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation and Wellcome.

Our Investors
CEPI was founded in Davos by the governments of Norway and India, the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Wellcome, and the World Economic Forum.
Today, our support has grown to include funding from over 30 national governments, the European Commission, and key philanthropic organisations the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation and Wellcome. We are also supported by several private sector organisations, and CEPI received public contributions for its response to the COVID-19 pandemic through the UN Foundation COVID-19 Solidarity Response Fund.

By partnering with CEPI, Indonesia will enhance its contribution to vaccine security and self-reliance, particularly within ASEAN and the Global South.

Investors Council
All investors contributing to CEPI’s funding pool are invited to join CEPI's Investors Council, with one representative from each investor represented during their pledged commitment.
The Investors Council receives regular updates from the CEPI team, provides guidance and oversight of CEPI activities, and engages in resource mobilisation efforts.
The Council nominates four Investor representatives to the Board and has some rights including approval of any single investment over US $100m.

Join us in Securing the Future
Our next five-year strategy - CEPI 3.0 - is the next step in CEPI’s mission to transform the way the world tackles epidemic and pandemic threats. Building on a decade of proven impact and a steadfast focus on equity, CEPI 3.0 harnesses the power of the best and latest scientific advances to combat one of the defining global security and humanitarian challenges of our time.
Every dollar invested in CEPI delivers faster protection and stronger resilience for everyone. The full CEPI 3.0 strategy requires US$3.6 billion, of which US$1.1 billion is already secured. CEPI is seeking an additional US$2.5 billion to unlock the plan’s transformational potential and secure a safer, better prepared future for all.
